Salada de Grão com Camarão
Simple, Fresh, Refreshing, and Classic, Salada de Grão is a staple in Portuguese Cuisine. I've added Shrimp to this, and leveled up! And guess what!? It's healthy too!
Ingredients
Salad
- 1 can Chickpeas (use dried if you have the time to prep)
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 Red Pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup Portuguese Cheese (cubed)
- 1/2 cup Portuguese Olives
- 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
- Olive Oil
- Vinegar
Shrimp
- 1/2 lbs Shrimp, peeled
- Salt, Pepper, Paprika
- Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Massa de Pimentao
- 1 Lime (juice)
- 2 tbsp Piri Piri
Instructions
- Season Shrimp with Massa de Pimentao, Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Piri Piri, Lime Juice and Parsley. Let marinade.
- Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, do not overcook. Once grilled, chop shrimp into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix all of the salad ingredients along with the shrimp pieces.
- Dress the salad with Portuguese Olive Oil and Vinegar, mix well, and serve.
