Camarao à Guilho – Garlic Shrimp Recipe

David
Camarao à Guilho is one of my all time favorite Portuguese dishes. When I was growing up in New Jersey, we would often eat out on the weekends, at our favorite Portuguese restaurant. This was always my “go to dish.” Portugal is known for its seafood, especially Marisco. This is one of those dishes that is a great introduction to an American or non Portuguese person to our cuisine. Although this dish has origins in Spain (Gambas al Ajillo), The Portuguese took it and put our own spin on it. If you’ve got 20  minutes to make a quick meal, this is it!
